A terraced cottage in a row of seven, built about 150 years ago, which has been modernized to a high standard and yet retains many of its original features. It is situated in the charming village of Snettisham, a real Norfolk village with good shops and inns, a farm park, and a working Water Mill, which is directly opposite. The village is situated not far from Sandringham and the quiet little, victorian resort of Hunstanton. Snettisham beach which is of the shingle variety is just two miles away and close by is the R.S.P.B. sanctuary. |
The sitting room, which is of a very reasonable size, has beams to the ceiling, restored pine panelling, an open fire, comfortable furniture, colour television and a video recorder. |
The dining kitchen also has beams to the ceiling and is well fitted to include a fridge freezer, automatic washer, microwave, gas cooker with grill, coffee maker, toaster, iron etc. There is a good supply of pots, pans and cutlery. A pine drop leaf table easily seats four people. A useful pantry leads off the kitchen and this also houses the central heating boiler. A stable door leads to a private and enclosed patio area, with flower borders and garden furniture. The patio catches the sun most of the day. |
| The first bedroom is tastefully decorated and has a double bed with duvet, Edwardian wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and a rocking chair. |
| The second bedroom has two single beds with duvets, hanging cupboard and a bedside cabinet. |
| The bathroom is fitted with a full suite with over the bath shower and a razor socket. |
| A view of the kitchen patio. | |
| A second patio is accessed via a gate next to the out house. | |
| Parking is on the road in front of the cottage. The road is relativley quiet and it is not a problem. |
